Update - The Floor Plans

Full bath in the guest room so when Elexus (19) my oldest daughter comes home from college her younger siblings won't be in her way.
Also full bath in the basement...

Come back tomorrow...I will be listing the options...

Basic floor plan without the morning. Candeth like this plan due to the openness of it. Hardwood is everywhere on this floor, except family room and library (mainly because they are the high traffic areas).

The basement level. The basement is finish with the den for an extra bedroom or exercise room. Full bathroom for harboring fugitives, lol. A full size storage space and a walkout basement. I don't like well basements.

The living-quarters. Four bedrooms - one is a guest/grandparent's room with a full bath (also for my college sweetheart-daughter). Another room for the girls (Jada 8 & Autumn 4), as Jada grows into maturity she will move into the guestroom (if Elexus hasn't found her own place by then). Another room for our son James Jr (as he gets older, probably wants to move downstairs in the den...boys tend to like their own area away from everybody else. And the Master suite with the extended closet which rounds out our humble home. We went simple, nothing extravagant, just to stay within our budget.

In the Beginning...

Our home search began in Mid-May 2012, when Candeth (my wife), came home saying she saw this model house that she loved. Candeth then snatched up the Girls (Jada 8 and Autumn 3) and I to see this model.  A Perlco Home in Camp Springs, Md...this home was impressive (I loved how the bathroom was set-up) but the house didn't have that it factor. Although it was impressive for Candeth and the girls.  We continued our search to Ryan Homes (Victoria Falls, Savoy, Belford, & the Yorkshire). These homes were good but they were not complete...A brief glance at Lennar Homes did little for me and Candeth was never interested.  So I was going to settle with the Belford by Ryans but I was not totally convince.  So the search kept going until we came across Stewart & Kret Homes.  Well Stewart & Kret made us an offer that was toooooo good to give up...we signed the contract on a house that was 80% finished.  We would have been moving in at the end of October 2012, but that door was shut and for some reason we never gave them our earnest money...Thank God.

I told Candeth, that I will not rest until I purchase her first house...so I was heading back to the Victoria Falls by Ryan Homes when I came across D.R. Horton.  They were having half off on option and throwing in a finished basement.  Well not to drag on and on we settled on the Covington.
